Some enjoy Sammy for his Queens, NY affect and slick, playful approach to difficult topics. Some like him for his resemblance to Daniel Riccardo. Some remember him as the cleanest comedian at Skankfest or as “Church Camp Drake” on Kevin Hart’s  ‘You Look Like.’ Still, all agree Sammy Anzer is growing into the mixed-race comedic voice in America, and he’s proven it by performing with DL Hughley, Maria Bamford, and Fahim Anwar.

Catch Sammy live to see why: “Anzer's performances blend joy with contemplation, and his insightful societal commentary inspires reflection while maintaining an uplifting atmosphere.” - Rooster Magazine.

Listen to ‘Residual Income’

by Sammy Anzer and Edward Bell

“Sammy Anzer is a smooth-talking, misbehaved New Yorker, and Edward Bell is a dry and sharp-witted Iowan. The two would have never met if not for their love of standup comedy. Standing outside of an Irish bar on the famouns South Broadway Strip in Denver, Colorado, Edward Joked about sustaining themselves on standup comedy by selling albums, and this is the outcome. Inspired by DIY punkrock ethos, Sammy and Edward are releasing their debut album as a collab with two hopes: 1) there’s something for everyone’s style of humor on the album, and 2) they’re gonna make a ton of spare change. Laughter brought these two together, and it’ll do the same for you.

In his series, Comedians Talk Art, Sammy explores art with comedians because, "Art is for everyone. For too long, people have felt they need money or special education to appreciate art comedians' have the ability to entertain and educate, and break down audiences' assumptions about how they are allowed to talk about Art and implicitly tell audiences, “The door is open for you to engage with Art, too.”

Anzer has brought authentic marketing content to institutions such as The Denver Art Museum, The Clyfford Still Museum, and Ryan Joseph Gallery. If you’re enticed by the opportunity to break down ivory towers and build a new bridge between the art world and the comedy world, email Sammy.
